Breast cancer and other cancer survivors are now being discharged from the Cancer Centre clinics, back to the care of their family physicians, much earlier than before. Not everyone may be aware of all that is involved in making sure the patient gets all the right tests at the right time. The responsibility is much more on the patient to keep to the recommended timeline and get any concerns checked out quickly.
We hope these links to approved guidelines help both professionals and patients.
