2017 WALK FOR AWARENESS

This BCAK annual event, aimed at increasing awareness about breast cancer, is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about breast cancer while enjoying a pleasant spring morning with family and friends. All funds raised will help BCAK administer its many programs and services to local breast cancer survivors, fund breast cancer research and provide information about breast cancer prevention and treatment to the people in this region.

Registration and head shaving begin at 9:00 am. The registration fee of $25 will be waived if $100 or more is collected in pledges. Youth 12 and under are free. All participants are encouraged to obtain pledges for the Walk. The Registration fee will include a snack after the Walk, other food will be available for a donation.
There will be an option to run the route if desired as the Walk goes at a leisurely pace to allow walkers of all ages and capabilities to participate. .
Registration and support pledge payment is available online through our secure PayPal site until May 24th only.
Alternatively you may download the pledge sheet (make sure to download both pages as one is the instructions) or call us to find out where they are available. Please pre-register if at all possible. Advance registration will be held at the BCAK office on Wednesday May 24th and Thursday May 25th from 12 noon to 5:00 pm. If not previously registered, please come to the registration table on site at the event between 9:00 am and 10:00 am and bring your pledge sheet and all donations with you.
